Please read carefully the Terms and Conditions of TRAVELERS WITH CAUSE LLC, in this case operating as WILD AND WONDER (W&W), before submitting your application online. By submitting your application, you confirm your acceptance and agree to be bound by the following W&W Terms and Conditions of service.
The "user" is solely responsible for arranging and paying for their own flight to and from the program destination, as well as local transportation costs, and for obtaining all necessary documentation (visas, vaccinations, passports). W&W may provide guidance on travel documentation, but is not responsible for the accuracy of such information. The maximum age to participate in a W&W program is 45 and the minimum age is 18, except for the exceptions described below; lying about one's age is grounds for removal without refund.
All payments to W&W are considered non-refundable, non-transferable, and not subject to changes, except as indicated in the Refunds section. The deposit payment secures your spot on the selected route and date. All payments include a 5% transaction fee to cover international banking fees, and are processed through Stripe or We Travel. Packages are quoted in United States dollars; your bank will determine the exchange rate applied at the time of payment. Cash payments are not accepted, and no tax-valid invoice is issued.
A monthly installment payment plan is offered, which must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the departure date. The plan consists of an initial deposit payment of $100 USD, with the remaining balance distributed in fixed installments. Payments are due on the 15th of each month and may be processed automatically through the authorized payment method. A delay of more than 15 days on any installment results in removal from the program without the right to a refund.
W&W may offer customized options to a user or group, and reserves the right to update the terms of its payment options at any time; such revisions do not apply to users who have already made their deposit payment.
All payments made are non-refundable due to the nature of the logistics, providers, and donations to the communities W&W works with. Only users whose route is cancelled by W&W due to force majeure are eligible for a refund, under the following conditions:
A 12-month credit may be obtained if a replacement is found for the user on the route, usable on any other route within the same calendar year. Without a replacement, payments will not be credited or transferable. Any cancellation made less than 90 days before the departure date is not eligible for a change or credit.
The "user" acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with traveling, temporarily residing in, and visiting a foreign country, including personal injury, emotional harm, death, illness, damage to or loss of property, natural disasters, hostage situations, harassment or violence, war, terrorism, or protests. W&W and its related parties are not liable and disclaim all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The "user" agrees to indemnify and hold harmless W&W and all related parties from losses or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from their participation in the program and any additional activities purchased through W&W.
W&W is not responsible for the purchase of flights, nor for losses, delays, cancellations, or other related inconveniences. Any resulting additional expenses are the user's responsibility, and the user must follow up directly with the airline.
Users who participate in a program before turning 18 must send W&W a notarized consent form from their parents or legal guardians at least 2 weeks before the start of the program; only individuals up to 17 years of age are accepted under these conditions, and not all programs accept minors. W&W reserves the right to remove an underage user from the program at any time, without right of appeal or refund, if they fail to comply with the code of conduct.
The "user" must comply with W&W's rules regarding alcohol consumption; it is strictly prohibited on social project days. Drug use is strictly prohibited and results in immediate removal from the program without refund.
Packages and itineraries may be modified at any time — price, duration, order of activities, inclusions, and exclusions — at W&W's sole discretion. For users already at the destination, programs may be modified at the last minute due to weather, protests, blocked roads, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
WILD AND WONDER is not liable for any failure to perform, unavailability, or failure of its services or website, nor for any breach of these Terms and Conditions, arising from causes reasonably beyond its control.
W&W provides a service that connects users with providers, and is not responsible for the actions or omissions of such providers during the trip. W&W and its local providers reserve the right to expel a user from the program at any time, without refund, in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the code of conduct. W&W reserves the right to use comments and images provided by users for marketing and promotional purposes, as well as to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice.
